Finals Series on the Horizon for Colliers Shield A-Grade Teams

We're ten rounds into the regular season of the 2024 Colliers Shield Men's & Women's A-Grade competitions and anticipation is building for a hot finals series!

Both competitions have delivered intense matches and remarkable displays of skill, but as the finals series approaches, we're eager to see who will battle it out for title!

The Grand Finals for all grades will be played on Saturday, August 4, 2024, at Queens Park, North Ward.

Colliers Shield - Women's 1st Grade

Season Highlights

Despite two draws early in the season, Rum Runners have so far continued their undefeated streak, maintaining a dominant presence on the field. Last week's narrow 6-5 win over Frogs sees them maintain a firm grip on the top of the table.

Brothers have shown resilience this season, securing crucial wins and maintaining their position in the top four, while Frogs have been consistent, securing key victories to stay competitive and keep themselves in the mix for the big dance a the end of the year.

Despite challenges, Crocs have fought hard, earning points through draws and a couple of wins against Redskins, who havedĀ faced a tough season yet continue to strive for better performances.

With six rounds left to play, the top-four is far from cemented!

Sharks have been the standout team so far this season, dominating the competition with only one loss against las year's premiers Brothers in Round 3, who have since shown resilience and skill, maintaining a strong position in second place.

Frogs have faced tough competition but managed to secure crucial points through wins and draws. Liek their Women's 1st Grade counterparts, Redskins have had a challenging season but continue to show determination on the field.
